Catalan’s Barcelona is a model city to see fine art in public places (part 3)

Frank Gehry’s giant metal goldfish is a wonderful whimsy of modern art on the Barcelona waterfront.

Apart from the many examples of fine art in outdoor settings, there are also several notable art galleries — for captive artworks in an indoor turnstile setting. My favorites are the Antoni Tapies gallery with the twisted wire chair sculpture on the roof, and the Picasso Museum which features an entire room dedicated to his several versions of Delacroix’s famous painting “Las Meninas”. Fabulous. The Joan Miro Museum is also very good.

And finally, for something compleeetely different…
