In 2010, the National Gallery of Canada installed a 10 storey stainless-steel sculpture at Nepean Point, a short stroll along a zigzag path from the iconic statue of Samuel de Champlain.  Called One Hundred Foot Line, the new metal sculpture evokes a tree without branches. It was created by leading New York sculptor, Roxy Paine.
